Declaratory Act, was an Act of the Parliament of Great Britain, which accompanied the repeal of the Stamp Act 1765, On March 18, 1766, Parliament repealed the Stamp Act and passed the Declaratory Act.

The Declaratory Act proclaimed that Parliament "had hath, and of right ought to have, full power and authority to make laws and statutes of sufficient force and validity to bind the colonies and people of America ... in all cases whatsoever".

Britain, with an army to enforce her tyranny, has declared that she has a right (not only to TAX) but "to BIND us in ALL CASES WHATSOEVER" and if being bound in that manner, is not slavery, then is there not such a thing as slavery upon earth.

Patriot and Virginia Governor Patrick Henry had a warrant for his arrest as a traitor until it was recscinded in the 1990's.

Not that it mattered much when the Royal Governor of Virginia was forced to flee from Williamsburg in 1775.
