Marana / Tucson - November 14-15, 2015

A small but determined group at the Marana Shooting Club this weekend, three new to Appleseed, and one returning Rifleman.  We got a late start due to a miscommunication resulting in the gate not being unlocked for us, but we enjoyed an extended introduction and safety briefing outside the gate until an RSO showed up and let us in.  A few minutes to set up, review of safety rules, and we got to work.  Although the morning redcoat showed room for improvement, groups ranged from fairly tight to very tight almost immediately.  Zeros were set and groups improving by the time we broke for lunch and history, and by the end of the day, everyone was showing marked improvement.

An overnight rain made Sunday a good bit muddier, but all returned and persisted!  Sunday morning our returning Rifleman Jose (Over_Lord2000) accepted an Orange Hat and stapped right up for RSO duty.  Sunday afternoon revealed a new Rifleman, Pedro - congratulations to both of you!
