Man, only four signed up. Why am I loading all this gear for four shooters? The paperwork. The driving. Errrgggghhhhh.  :wb:

Ya just never know and after eight years, I might know better than to "jack handle" before an event. We had nine on Saturday and twelve on Sunday - well under capacity, but much better than four. Some "repeat offenders" and some new faces made for a great event.

Three Alexanders. Two Poulters, Trey and Destiny along with their buddy Skylar. Neville, Leon, and Gordon - all for their first time and IIT Charlie showed up on Sunday to round out a great event - we lost nobody from Saturday and gained four for Sunday. Charlie re-qual'd, but we would never have stood for less.

Young Trey (we both had trouble anytime someone called our name - this NEVER happens to us) shot the second highest score with a 208 - ouch!  :wb: Nearly kilt him, but I know he'll come back and get it done. If your grandparents are willing to drive down to Clearwater, we have an event at the Wyoming Antelope Club in Pinellas Park November 21/22 - the weather orta be nice and lots to do down here.

Alkeford and I saw lots of improvement across the board. Dry fire, dry fire, dry fire!

Hope to see each of you again. We have venues all over the state - all over the country. I am looking at running an instructor boot camp in Oregon early next year!

Please don't fergit to 7th step and help us get the word out - maybe we can stop the ship from sinking and hand down to our posterity that most celestial article - Liberty! Huzaaaah!

Sounds like a great shoot!  Good job everyone!
Bad men cannot make good citizens. It is when a people forget God that tyrants forge their chains." - Patrick Henry

The American Constitution is remarkable for its simplicity; but can only suffice a people habitually correct in their actions, and would be utterly inadequate to the wants of a different nation.  Change the domestic habits of the Americans, their religious devotion, and their high respect for morality, and it will not be necessary to change a single letter in the Constitution in order to vary the whole form of their government. - Francis Grund 1837

"In the prevailing political theory of the founding era, the family was considered one of the essential pillars of republican virtue, and it not only needed to be nurtured, but also protected from the tyranny of the government.... American revolutionaries and their descendants understood marriage and the family to be schools of republican virtue. -Mary Lyndon Shanley, Review Essay, 27 Law & Soc. Inq. 923,

Trey, when did you get a time machine? Wish I had one.
"We have always looked upon men as a set of beings naturally free - that a people can never be divested of those invaluable rights and liberties which are necessary to the happiness of individuals, to the well-beings of communities or to a well regulated state, but by their own negligence, imprudence, timidity or rashness. They are seldom lost, but when foolishly forfeited or tamely resigned." ~Jonas Clarke
