We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

Huzzah!  Another wonderful Appleseed event at Lapeer!   ^:)^  Even better with such a wonderful group of kids!

It was a fun weekend.  We only had one Appleseed day on the club calendar, but were able to work out time Saturday with the club Smallbore instructors to help these Boy Scouts get their rifle shooting merit badge.  Big thanks to John, George and George/Roundballer for having the rifles and NRA credentials needed for the merit badge!

Then, we could come back and start on some new skills Sunday, along with inspirational tales of Apr 19, 1775.  We bumped the pace up a notch (as we always do at Appleseed  ;) ) but the group rose to the challenge.  There were few complaints, and groups shrank down as we moved through steady hold factors, six steps to firing a shot and NPOA.  Somehow, I even got them interested in a little bit of math for IMC.

Michelle, thank you for contacting us so we could organize this event with your troop!  I'd love to see everyone back on the line in the future, maybe for a two day Appleseed where we can really hone those skills in!

Silent hero of the weekend award goes to Number6 who had to travel for business, but whose rifles equipped over half the firing line!  Couldn't have done it without you!
