Pomfret Rod and Gun club hosted a two day shoot this past weekend, going the distance to make it a special event. Although the turnout was light we had some great improvement and shooting by those in attendance.

All of the non club members were fairly new shooters. The POI's brought them to a higher level of competence and trust in their abilities. 12 year old Abbie, who attended Saturday only, was in the 170's for score. Steven and Mike showed continuous improvement over Sunday.

Kevin, our BOTG for the event requalified with a 211, his dad Brian hit it hard with a 235, Nice shooting!

The club went the distance for hosting the event. Hot food was served at lunch both days, and a drawing for 22 ammo and multitool was held for the shooters on Sunday.

Heavyduty77 and Bcodes did their best at working with the shooters, bringing them along at the standard drink from a firehose pace. Our IT crew were able to get some trigger time in on Sunday also.

All in all a great event. Pomfret R&G had hosted events in the past and we look forward to shoots there in the future.
