We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

It was the best weekend of the year for shooting in Virginia, and 18 patriots took everything from it that the beautiful days had to offer. We had a truly excellent group of parents, children and friends. Everyone made great progress throughout the weekend. We had a total of 14 Morgan's Shingle shots and 6 clean Redcoats over the two days - great marksmanship! Also, Taylor showed us how to score on Stage 4 with a 96, as did Julia shortly after with a 94.

We had 3 new Riflemen:
Julia with 212 and 227
Taylor with 211,211 and 212
Patrick with 213

and 2 re-qualified:

Mason with 211
Mark with 214, 218, 223, and 225

The history sections sparked great questions and spirited discussion. I have high hopes that this event's participants will henceforth use their Appleseed experience to great advantage as active citizens.

Special thanks to The Wolfhound for setting up the target line early on Saturday, and to jmdavis for hosting us and keeping the woodstove in the clubhouse stoked.
