The Seeds of the Tree of Liberty were sewn again in El Paso, Texas, October 17-18, 2015.
To 15 of the finest shooters it has been my pleasure to Instruct!
Ranging in age from 11 to Alarm Lister's, they unfailingly rose to the occasion, time and time again.
Invigorated with stories of the events of April 19, 1775 and the fervor of the founders, five of these fine Patriots rose to the challenge of the AQT and fired a Rifleman score. All of the others scored in the  Sharpshooter  category. This was an amazing weekend!
Our newest Riflemen and women; Evelyn - 214(her 1st time handling a firearm of any kind),
Matthew R. - 220, Diane - 223, Clay - 225, and Anthony - 230.
Clay and Diane Accepted the 7th Step challenge and are 2 of Texas's newest IIT's, hailing from Odessa.
Matthew R. also accepted an Orange Hat and is currently stationed at Ft Bliss, El Paso, Texas.
Traci and Andy F. stepped up to act as Blue Hat Volunteers until they have mastered the AQT.
Our most heartfelt thanks to our Instructor Cadre for this event: Milt and Margie B.(duc-dog and Appleseed Widow) and Bill B(hotairbill).
We would also like to thank the citizenry of El Paso County Texas for allowing the El Paso Community College Law Enforcement Academy for hosting us in our state of the art, Indoor Shooting Range.
I wish to sincerely thank all of this event participants and our fellow Instructors for refilling my heart with the joy that only comes from being of service, Thank You!!!

...This was an amazing weekend!

   Indeed it was!

Thanks to those who attended, who caught the spirit of what we're trying to do, and who stepped forward to help out.

It's a noble mission, and El Paso is where it all begins.

Now, let's get started working on our friends and neighbors to get them into Appleseeding - maybe, until the next Appleseed, invite them to a social event - backyard cookout? - where things Appleseed can be brought up. Where the ground can be prepped, where and minds can be prepared.

We're gonna need at least a few dozen to fire up El Paso! Jerry needs a bunch of new friends to help him out!

We were excited and honored to be a part of it, Jerry!  It was great to meet the other instructors, and the other shooters.  Congrats to those who earned their Rifleman rating. We're right behind you!  REALLY looking forward to our next event in El Paso in April!!!!!   ^:)^
