The hurricane attended this one day event with high winds 15-25, low temp at 40-43, and heavy rain especially in the Am (tapered off by day's end). The line was manned by good red blooded Americans, all experienced shooters, neither summer soldiers nor sunshine patriots. All were in for the long haul-by noon we all had a low dose of hypothermia and marched, shoulder arms, from the range to the clubhouse and the wood stove -we would do this again after the first AQT. Craig came out swinging with a 217 on the first AQT - he missed the afternoon (post zero) redcoat  with all in the red except for one at the 400-[close enough for a 31 caliber rule but we only do a thirty here].  Michael has the 209 blues and will get the score when he isn't paying all that attention....(so to speak)-another fine shooter, however, and we look forward to getting him a Rifleman's patch one day.... Ken, Marc, and Eaven had great groups on different targets and it won't be long before they too are riflemen. Ken and Eaven got along well and sometimes helped on another out on their target.  All in all it was a great time with this safe group equipped with teachable attitudes. I am speaking with Craig about an orange hat now. Great time - look for us again in January of 2015 (God willing).
