AAFG Annapolis, MD August 22 - 1 Day Event

Annapolis, Maryland - 11 shooters came out to learn more about Marksmanship and American History on a beautiful Saturday.

We started slowly but picked up the pace following lunch and although we did not have any Rifleman scores on this day we did see incredible improvements and the results were in the Red Coat targets.  Additionally, I commend everyone for a very safe shoot.  ABCGarand delivered the First Strikes while WhyWon enthusiastically delivered the Second and Third.  We had 5 shooters deliver DOM utilizing the Appleseed deck of cards.  The shooters were attentive to the all Three Strikes and all courses of instruction.

Maryland Instructor Team, you guys are outstanding as always!  Thank you NavyIrish, SonofAVeteran, ABCGarand and WhyWon for your support and instruction.  Everyone had an enjoyable experience and most importantly safe.  Several students made comments following the event about their improvement.

New member here, and new participant in Appleseed events./l

I was one of the shooters that day at AAFG.  I came 2ith my daughter and a friend of the family.  Both girls shoot summer biathlon and came with their bolt guns.  While this put them at a disadvantage, the instructors worked with them and they improved greatly over their previous marksmanship on biathlon.  I'm looking forward to seeing how well they do at the next SB practice in 2 weeks.

Thank you to all of the instructors for a day of valuable instruction.  All of us will be back.  I might try the bolt gun myself next time.
