11 patriots braved the triple digit heat to join us at Medical Lake this weekend. We lost one of our shooters on Sunday (you were missed Steve). Skip came Sunday but a sore back took him out of the game early.

For as hot as the forge was we weren't able to make any riflemen. Lisa and Casey (Cooper) were both knocking at the door with Sharpshooter scores.

3 young patriots all still had energy to run to the target line for their red coats at the end of the day. Oh to be young again...

Take what you learned this weekend and do your homework. Stretching, dry practice and trigger time will yield the results you are looking for. Remember, the mechanics are simple, not easy. Put in the hard work and your persistence will pay off.

Your next opportunities will be in Lewiston, ID Sep 12/13 and Coeur d'Alene, ID Oct 3/4. I hope to see you all on the trail again.

Journey, it was a pleasure to work with you. You have a great start on being a very effective instructor. Boarder Run, thanks for the extra set of hands on Sunday. Rizzin - always a pleasure to work with you. Your history is inspiring. Flipper, thanks for all of your hard work before, during and after the shoot. You make your dad very proud.
