REPORT FROM THE FRONT LINE:

Seven shooters and two IITs (JesseO/MK1765) showed for fun and quite a bit of sunshine this weekend. The morning hours were filed with finesse on the finer points of shooting. We took time there and it paid off in the afternoon.  Our morning started with some sluggish post fourth of july shooters, but by 10 am the line was rolling - that is good, because we couldn't start until 10 anyhow....

Next thing you know the groups are smaller, the smiles are bigger, and the courses of fire became longer with introduction of the AQT.

BY days end there was one rifleman requal, one redcoat requal, and a host of improvement on all phases. The heat was a factor, so there was alot of drinking on the line (water, that is!). The Shoot Boss got stung by the world's largest hornet but it had no ill effect other than making him jump and shout for a moment.

We did elect to forego an additional QDAQT, as the heat had taken its toll and our shooters opted instead for the red coat. We policed the line and did the benediction, then shook hands to, with God's grace, meet again to enjoy another Appleseed shoot in August 8-9 2015.
