We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

June 21 began like many days do in the Bay Area of California -- with a generous marine layer.  We hurried to prepare for this special one-day event on Father's Day, and managed to start instruction just about the time the sun broke through.  After a safety briefing, we were on our way!

Matt anchors the right side of a full but comfortable line.

Marta instructs on the offhand position while Hans models.

After making our way through the bulk of the instruction, we took a break for lunch and to reflect upon the shared heritage that brought us to Chabot today.

Hans shares the second strike. We reflected upon the sacrifices of fathers and families on April 19th, 1775.

Posterity receiving the Luther Blanchard patch.

We returned to the line to begin our AQTs for the day -- and managed to fit three in!

Afternoon pano.

Three AQTs was all it took to find rifleman amongst us!

Rifleman Rob requalified.

Rifleman Chris demonstrated that a rifleman persists and turned in qualifying scores on each AQT, including the daily high of a 228!

This shoot, like every shoot, was a very special day for all of us.  Your humble Shoot Boss thanks the instructors, shooters, and Chabot Gun Club for letting us experience such a special Father's Day.
