Pain Killer

Another great Appleseed at the Charlotte Rifle and Pistol Club, but it was a scorcher. Saturday was 96 degrees and Sunday was 98 with 90% humidity and not much of a breeze. On Saturday we were on a range that was open to elements and thankfully we moved to a covered range on Sunday. Everyone stayed well hydrated and ultimately we had a great time with excellent results. We had 15 shooters in total and we had 6 new Rifleman, 1 re-qual and several shooters that were very close.

The participants were very safe, listened well and participated with the History by asking a lot of great questions. We had one young man named Wyatt (9 years old) who earned his youth patch with the Cricket .22 he was using with quite a bit of skill. Interestingly, he encouraged his father to stay to the end on Sunday while many of the participants were leaving to get out of the heat and his dad Wade, scored Rifleman on his last AQT of the day. Huzzah! I will include pictures soon, please post some if you have them. See the high scores below. Thank you to the 3 Instructors and all the participants for being so responsive to our program!!

Sorry, this was a bad picture day for me. Many of the Rifleman shots didn't come out and 2 participants did not sign the photo release and they are in a lot of my pics.
