This was the first event held at Palo Alto Rifle and Pistol Club Range. The first day was spent on the 25 M range and all subjects were covered then. We had 10 shooters of varying skill levels shooting that first day including 3 youths. The second day was spent on the 200 yd range shooting "AQTs" with targets scaled to be the same size as they would appear at the various ranges on a real AQT (excepting 100 yd). All shooters were diligent and made progress throughout the weekend. Early indications are that Palo Alto Officers and Board members were impressed with the enthusiasm of our shooters who were willing to brave a torrential downpour to complete the last course of fire. I appreciate all the help from the shooters to make this event a success and especially thank Palo Alto for allowing us to use their facilities. We look forward to another shoot at this venue.
