It was a beautiful two days at Red Brush Rifle Range near Evansville IN.  This was an unusual shoot with all adult shooters on the line and all but one shooter having been a previous Appleseed attendee.  There was so much marksmanship improvement it is hard to know where to start....

Huzzah! for Dan who put up a 214 with his first AQT only to follow it up with a 241 later that day and several others in the 220s and 230s on Sunday.

Natalie and Brandon each came with the goal of requalifying.  Well after blowing by that goal early on it became a battle for the honor of who had the highest score.  Both put up very nice results.

Ginny came in fresh from another shoot just last week and was working out a few kinks.  Due to equipment issues she resorted to some Kentucky windage and ended up just shy of the rifleman patch on Saturday, the only day she could attend.  We hope to see her at another shoot to earn that patch.

Greg started off on Saturday with scores in the 160s and by Sunday he too was in the 200 range.  Keep it up Greg, you are so close to breaking through!

Darkfoot was showing us just how close you could get to a rifleman's score without making it.  He continued a streak of being just shy of the 210 mark.  We are all confident that he will be joining the ranks of riflemen very, very soon.

Special thanks to olefido, Big John, and Darkfoot helping me get my shoot boss legs back under me.  What a great group of instructors.

Good shoot. Had veteran shooters, all above 200, and no muss or fuss. A very calm, relaxed, professional event. Hopefully most will return for the hot KD event in a few months. Hot as in exciting, and as in temperature.

Brandon, Dan, Natalie, and Greg on the above.
5 square analysis, you can't take nice pictures when you're the line boss.
Dan and Greg card the sights.
Brandon works with his better half on carding the sights.
Darkfoot does the same with Ginny.
Dan and Greg again for coaching...
and again for carding sights.
Ol Fido and IMC to a thankfully shaded audience.

Rifleman Dan x2, tried for a better angle.
The line does seated. Darkfoot is the only guy I know that prefers kneeling (and does it well.)
Standing.
Now that is a centerfire rifle held up that high. Observe the proper SHFs.
More standing with Brandon and Natalie.
Dan with epic boonie does standing.
More seated.
And more.
Surplus reviews the AQT.
Dan and Brandon do prone.
More prone.
And the line is run by the most enthusiastic line boss ever. Surplus has Range Voice (tm)
