Great people / great venue / great host!

Well, we had a great turnout of 13 student / instructors with a gaggle of red hats and SBs, Alkeford was a amazing host as always. He did his "Low Country Boil" made of potatoes, sausage, shrimp and such - well seasoned and prepared. He even made two batches - one with shellfish and another without. He had $200 worth of fresh stone crab claws as well as grilled oysters. From the coffee urn to a full breakfast for all on Sunday morning - kudos sir! Thank you and your lovely bride for opening your home to the AS crew and making this IBC so memorable.

We also had three young lady IITs and that's great as we always seem to be short on female instructors, who offer a special advantage when working with female shooters and children. Please stick with it and work as many events as you can.

Now, to the many IITs who failed to show and needed an IBC, just as we all need at least one IBC per year to remain sharp and current - you missed it huge! 

Smoak has promised to look into dates for a second IBC this year at his place which allows a live-fire "mock Appleseeds", but unless we talk Alkeford into coming - no LCB spread out on the table for all to feast upon.

So, keep an eye out for this next IBC and make it happen. Stellar events require razor-sharp instructors and that means periodical "continuing education".

FYI: Smoak is also looking into a KDC at the Gwinn farm - heaven on earth for sure and it will be instructor-only - any level
