Blame it on the holidays -- but late is better than never, right?  And it just wouldn't be right to let such a great shoot pass without a proper AAR.

The Christmas shoot at Castro Valley is always a special one, and not just because it's about the only time we get weather in the Bay Area (this shoot had a heavy mist that left a blanket of wet on all of our mats).  A great group of shooters came out to reconnect with their heritage and put some rounds downrange in the pursuit of the coveted Rifleman patch!

The weekend was, as always, a very special Appleseed.  I'll let the pictures do the talking:

Congrats to all who spent part of their holidays learning about their heritage, especially the Rifle(wo)men.  A special shout-out to Marta, an alum of our Saturday morning rifle class.  Probably the last...

That was a fun shoot! Thanks to all who attended and "sacrificed" their final shopping weekend before Christmas. This gives proof that the spirit of the American Revolution is still alive in many of us.
