Great set of Patriots came out to join us in Washington winter weather for instruction and history

Saturday got off to a slow start with too many words and many equipment issues to be overcome. Redcoat targets showed much improvement over the day and everybody came back on Sunday for more. Sunday was much more inline with Washington winters being cold and windy yet everybody was eager. Winterseed patch given for 1st AQT of Sunday AM and students got a chance at a bit of hands on history when Shoot Boss brought out his Brown Bess musket to fire for those who want a chance.

Thanks to all who came out and hope to see you on the Appleseed trail in the future.

Can't think of a better way to spend a weekend. I find some humor in the only local to this event was the shoot boss. With the possible exception of Tobin, everyone else drove 3+ hours to get there. Weather was perfect Saturday - touch windy and cold on Sunday but hey; winterseed patch was handed out. Just in time too since Mark had an extractor failure during the next AQT.

A few pics I got:

Note the 1/4" of frost built up on the deck - never did go away in the shade
