A successful day at full distance at Ft Meade MD..  10 students on the line.. FOUR qualified!  And that included shooting at 500 yrds for the final stage of the AQT, using the "hits count" model.  A full cadre of 10 instructors combined to work the pits, and man the line. 3 AQT's were shot... progress was made... All students left with great progress and more importantly, good data on their rifles!   Thank you to all the students, instructors, and Meade Rifle and Pistol club for hosting the event.. Looking forward to 2015.   BeSwift

Great shoot! What a fantastic range for a KD- you can feel the history. Thanks to MRPC and the US Army and NSA for hosting us.

500 is a long way. Yes, those frames each have two targets on them.

The pit barista, keepin' things hot!

On a line full of ARs, it's great to see an M1A!

Or better yet, a K31!

Not all ARs have scopes. A2 sights are made for AQT's

ALL READY ON THE FIRING LINE...! (Gotta say it loud, so they can hear it in the pits!)

Beautiful looking range you have there, it's nice to have pits and a crew to work it.
Congratulations to all at being able to secure that range at Fort Meade.
And Congratulations to the KD Riflemen, nice job.

The quality of this event improved dramatically, as a direct result of your instruction at Lewiston. I wanted to personally thank you for that and let you know your knowledge is being paid forward...
