The weather was predicted to be below freezing and windy which resulted in some cancellations.  We had three hardy shooters come out.  Actual weather was just over freezing at sunup and got into the 40's through the day and the wind was not bad.  We saw steady improvement in all of our shooters and no major safety problems.  All in all it was a good day.

As is the custom on this range the local volunteer fire department cooked us lunch.  On Saturday it was venison chili.  We ate on the Cowboy Action range in one of the buildings there while listening to the second strike.

Sunday was predicted to be even colder and our three shooters had church obligations  that would keep them off the range on Sunday.  We went ahead and showed up anyway in case of a walk on.  Sunday morning was 25 degrees with a thick layer of frost coating everything.  At a half hour past sign in time there were no walk ons so we cancelled the rest of the shoot, took down the target boards and headed home.

Thanks to Spitfire51 and Big John for all their help.

Thanks to Don Brannan and ProTeq Academy for letting us use their facilities.
