We had some really beautiful weather for our weekend.  Saturday morning we got one heavy band of rain from a thunderstorm that passed through to the north but after that it remained overcast with temperatures in the 80's and a light breeze.  Sunday it was sunny, a little bit warmer but a cool breeze kept cropping up from the South and that kept things at just about the right temperature.

Cloverdale Conservation Club is a top notch facility for hosting Appleseed events.  Permanent Shelters with lighting and outlets, a clubhouse with a kitchen and indoor bathrooms and well maintained 25 meter and 100 meter ranges side by side with the same firing line all added to a wonderful weekend of shooting.

We had one shooter earn his rifleman patch for the first time and another proved repeatedly that he still knows what he is about.  Turnout was low but we were competing with some other events so that was not unexpected.  Overall it was a very relaxing and fun way to spend a weekend.
