[AFTERMATH]

Had one shooter this weekend, Tim. 

Tim was a great student, and picked things up rather quickly.  Despite not being physically capable of shooting in the prone position we - IMPROVISED - ADAPTED - and - OVERCAME - this perceived disability. 

Not being able to shoot in prone does have it's drawbacks, but at the same time it means never having to lay in the mud while ants crawl across your forehead and brass falls in the crooks of your elbows.  And hey, if you can shoot 4moa from the kneeling position; you're doing alright!

He was there and prepared to learn, so I taught him and by 2:30 we'd run through an entire Appleseed, complete with 100yrd shooting and some of the most in-depth history I've shared at an Appleseed.  By then, he was rather exhausted, and since I was just getting started; we wrapped things up.  He gave me the next day off to... (I don't remember what I ended up doing, because everyday not at an Appleseed is kinda a black-out to me.) 

He's got a few things to work on, but I expect to see him back in July, hopefully with friends! 

I suspect a Rifleman's patch to be in his near future!
