We need the assistance one or two adults for this coming Saturday - Derby Day. We are helping at Cabelas Outdoor Days at their Louisville store. We will be running the BB gun firing range for the public from 10:00-2:00. This is a great opportunity for you to help introduce kids (and maybe even some adults) to rifle shooting. You do not need to be an official Appleseed instructor. You will not have to do any public speaking; you will be working one-on-one with the shooters and just need to keep them safe and help them have a good time. Cabelas will even provide lunch for you, but you have to let me know soon. PM me if you want to help, and thanks in advance

As its a Gift of God
And for it willing yield their Lives
And Seal it with their Blood

Thrice happy they who thus resign
Into the peacefull Grave
Much better there, in Death Confin'd
Than a Surviving Slave

This Motto may adorn their Tombs,

Than live as Slaves to You"

Indiana Appleseed:  Farm Bred, Brass Fed

Lord make me fast and accurate. Let my aim be true, and my hands faster than those who would seek to destroy me.  Grant me victory over my foes, and those  that wish to do harm to me and mine. Let not my last thought be if I only had my Gun; and Lord if today is truly the day that you take me home, let me die in a pile of empty brass.

Thanks to everyone who responded via Facebook.  We have at least five volunteers.  Also thanks to Brian Hobbs of Rifleman Training Targets for donating the cool foam silhouettes for the kids to shoot.  You may contact Brian at riflemantrainingtargets@hotmail.com
