We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

This was our first public event and this location and we had a nice one. The weather was pleasant. (still hot, this is Texas!) but the pop-up canopies helped keep things manageable.

We had several repeat Appleseeders who were back for more and a couple of father and sibling groups who were there for their first AS experience. Everyone progressed well though out the day as evidenced by our end of the day Redcoats.

I'm really proud of how well the kids did. Daisy, who was feeling pretty unsure of things started out was great all day with safety and properly aerated the 100y Redcoat by the end of the day. Maya and Timothy did great as well. They stuck to it and thought through all their equipment issues and that says a lot.

Thanks to everyone for coming out!  Pics from the weekend are dribbling in on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/appleseedtexas
