100% riflemen on the fourth AQT on Sunday!  Then 100% cleared Redcoats!  We only had two shooters, a father and son, but they were awesome!  This was their second Appleseed, but the first was a Sunday only.  Instruction on Saturday went well, but we did not have high hopes for Sunday... but we were wrong.  On each AQT Sunday their groups got tighter and better placed.  We  helped them with minor sling issues, trigger control and breathing.  Just doing the basics well made all of the difference.  Congratulations to Lance and Will.  By the way, both of them scored identical 215's on the fourth AQT of the day!

The Sun mountain Gun Club was a gracious host.  They are great supporters of youth shooters and shooting events.  We look forward to returning in September.

The weather was very warm, but we did have shade to retreat to for instruction and history.  The history was well received.  We encouraged then to "help us bail".  I plan to have an orange hat ready for Lance in September, when he brings his cousin ...
