Another group of proud Americans got off the couch to participate in the only sport endorsed by our founders. The weather was great with a few sprinkles Saturday morning that no one could recognize! :) 9 on the line as Red Coats were engaged with mixed results. The firehose was opened, Rebecca, Mima, and Jubal showing quick improvement. The strikes were told over lunch and back out to the line. Kim "Pure Sass", better half of "Carlson", at her second Seed turned in an impressive 221 and agreed to step up and take a Hat. Welcome aboard Kim, you'll be a great addition to the Appleseed team! Sure hate to lose you and "Carlson" to MT however! :) Jim requaled by turning in an impressive 222 at his second Seed. Jubal, Liz, Barbara, and Bryan were all knocking at the door.

Sunday shown bright with 2 having to drop out but 2 more showing up. Reviews done the AQT grind began. Rifle troubles haunted Rebecca and Mima but in true Rifleman sprit they persisted and showed great improvement and their infectious smiles were a joy. Liz and Jubal continued to knock on the door but couldn't quite get over that hump as was Mirielle. Sheriff Gary Graves, a walk on Sunday morning, managed to get all that close quarter stuff out of his head and turn in a 216 to earn his patch and join the ranks of those who know very well what they are about. Does this country need Constitutional Sheriff's? :) Good luck Gary.

As the sun sank low, a bunch of dirty, tired, instructors and fine Americans departed making sure a couple more Rifleman lurked behind every yucca. A huge thanks to students and instructors alike....O.L.
