Stubborn Yankee, that is.   ^:)^ ^:)^ ^:)^

It was my distinct pleasure to hand Stubborn Yankee his well-earned Red Hat at Lake Village, IN, on April 20, 2013 during our Patriot's Day event.  It's been a long road, but he stayed the course.  His history was strong and compelling, his marksmanship instruction precise and clear, and his attention to the shooters excellent.  A hat nearly three years in the making.  Slow and steady.  This is what can happen when you 7th step and bring someone back with you next time.

Well done, Dad.

It does not take a majority of cats to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men and breaking stuff in their houses.

Indiana Appleseed:  Farm Bred, Brass Fed

Lord make me fast and accurate. Let my aim be true, and my hands faster than those who would seek to destroy me.  Grant me victory over my foes, and those  that wish to do harm to me and mine. Let not my last thought be if I only had my Gun; and Lord if today is truly the day that you take me home, let me die in a pile of empty brass.

DaveD

"A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind."

What a nation has done, a nation can aspire to.
Dr. Jerry Pournelle

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as "bad luck."
