We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

A great weekend just wrapped up Proactive Defense located north of Ft. Worth. We had perfect weather and greatly enjoyed the upgrades the range recently made. This was our first time on the new (but used) astroturf firing line.

We saw great improvement through the weekend from the attendees. All of whom showed up with differing levels of previous experience, but all ready to experience Appleseed. I enjoyed seeing all of the families that shared the weekend with us.  It was a pleasure being being in your company.

Congratulations to our three newest Texas Riflemen!
Bill was the first to cross the line of 210 and was followed later on Sunday afternoon by Junior and Scott.

Scott also decided he was ready for the next step and has taken up the orange hat! I also want to welcome Heather to the Instructor corps. She took a hat Sunday morning and is rip-roaring ready to get rolling. I love the enthusiasm!

Bobbie did a great job delivering his first "First Strike" this weekend, Ashley gave his first "Second Strike" and Andrew followed up with the Third. I think the history as a whole was well done and especially meaningful this weekend as we honor those who made the ultimate choice 238 years ago.

...and thank you Junior for the sandwich!  ;)

I was glad to see Scott take an Orange Hat. After overcoming equipment problems early in the day, he shoot to Rifleman standards.
Thanks again on taking a Hat.

Also, Junior showed tremendous tenacity in continuing his pursuit of the Rifleman Patch. That was inspiring. Congratulations again.
You did knock that wall down!
