Lima, Ohio March 30/31

What started out as a bleak beginning as our 2 pre-regs did not show, turned into a fantastic shoot! We did only have shooters one day, but 8 Patriotic souls joined us as walk-ons Saturday--- the Redcoats were on the run!!

6 Appleseed veterans and 2 new Appleseed shooters showed the moxie of an American Marksman!

Father/daughter trio Jim, Mary, and Cassie put their skills to work out of the gate. We gotta get orange hats on these guys---they dove the safety briefing and redcoat explanation with ease!! And for the upteenth time Jim backed up his Rifleman score.

Dave and sons, Kaleb & Josh, joined us on the line again! They also brought Mom, Laila and friend Andrew!

We got down to business and by the end of the day all were showing improvement with groups, and were really working on those steady hold factors along with the NPOA shifts. Andrew really showed great improvement and scored in the 180s on his first official AQT---nice shooting!!

A great day ending with history and our duty as American Patriots to be active and involved with the course of our great Republic!

A special little note: I first met Kaleb in 2011 at a Piqua shoot, a young man getting ready to ship out for basic training. Through the last 1.5 yrs he would cross my mind and always a prayer for his safety. It was so great to see him on the line Saturday, he has just returned from his deployment to Afghanistan! Kaleb we do THANK YOU --- not so much for your service (as you said) but for your willingness to fight for freedom and liberties, to protect and defend!

Everyone left Saturday evening, tired, smiling, and ready to celebrate Resurrection Sunday and the renewed hope
