A great shoot with some dedicated students.  I hope to see several at the Pueblo shoot in a few weeks.

OK here is the scoop from the SB.

Instructors: Topcat, AdamSelene, 4MOAorBust, Colorado Pete, and Sheepdog.
Thanks to you all for helping out. Couldn't have done it right without all of you there. Thanks Pete for coming in at the last minute, you saved the day!

Students: 24 on Saturday, and 16 on Sunday.  Our line Saturday morning was all first time Appleseeders. So we went to work and started building skills, knowledge and attitudes. We got through all positions on Saturday but transitions would have to wait til Sunday. It was good to see that Appleseed draws (time and time again) quality Americans, families, daughters and sons, friends and brothers. Thank you fathers for coming with your sons and daughters...we had about 4 teams of Father/Sons. Ladies, thanks for being there too. It was great to see you progress, be a good tuber, and not be afraid to grab that centerfire rifle and put some rounds downrange.

Weather in Coloradro can either make or break your day. We were blessed with two spectacular days which started out chilly but soon warmed to a pleasent 55 Im guessing. Wind was not an issue and not one target or piece of paper tried to make an escape. The sun shone all day and because it was just cool enough to require a full covering of clothing, we didn't have any brass-burns.

Everyone accomplished something in the road to Rifleman. First timer, Nathan, shot a 217 on Sunday moring. Our friend Calvin a dedicated pursuer of the cause hit the mark on Sunday with a 210. Clavin I hope this won't be an end to a friendship and that we will see you again. You are the definition of persistance and perserverence! Nathan we will see you again for you second AS and get you through to the lessons for an Instructor.  Several more students banging away and scoring in the high 190s-low 200s. Keep at it, you'll be there before you know it.

AdamSelene took on the Lions share on Sunday accomplishing an advancement from IIT2 to IIT3.
Nice work MJ!

Thanks again to all the staff for being there and making this a successful event where shooting got better and souls were stirred.

Post your pictures!
