On a cold, windy day, four dedicated first time Appleseed shooters appeared Saturday morning. This included a highly capable and enthusiastic shooter who had to shoot from a wheelchair. Unfortunately he was not able to return Sunday. This was regrettable for everyone, and especially disappointing to him, because he had shot a 206 with malfunctions, and would certainly have made a Rifleman the next day. In fact, only one of the original shooters could return Sunday, but he was joined by two equally enthusiastic walk-on shooters who had attended previous Appleseeds. One of these two shot multiple Rifleman Scores and the other shot a 196. And the shooter from Saturday also shot multiple Rifleman Scores.

On top of this, ChuckS performed magnificently and earned his Red Hat. What a great weekend.  ^:)^
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add "within the limits of the law" because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.  Thomas Jefferson

For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.  H. L. Mencken

Unbridled Liberty

Sounds like a great shoot.  Special congratulations to ChuckS!  How about a picture of the new Redhead?

For Liberty, each Freeman Strives
As its a Gift of God
And for it willing yield their Lives
And Seal it with their Blood

Thrice happy they who thus resign
Into the peacefull Grave
Much better there, in Death Confin'd
Than a Surviving Slave

This Motto may adorn their Tombs,
(Let tyrants come and view)
"We rather seek these silent Rooms
Than live as Slaves to You"

Lemuel Haynes, 1775

Thanks UL.

No pics - I look more ridiculous than usual in a baseball cap, and besides, I'm the quiet shy bashful type.  ::)
