Thirteen shooters had a great Saturday at the Emerald Empire Gun Club.

We made one Rifleman.  Congratulations, Eric!

I had another great weekend in Springfield ^:)^

Congratulations to our new riflemen, Eric and Mark and our newest rifleboy (just kidding) Jason.   

Jason is the second 12 year old, in Oregon, to shoot riflemen and this is a testament to the character of some of the kids in our state.   Jason started ASing in December of 2010 and showed his persistence in obtaining his rifleman's patch this weekend.

We had a some rain this weekend, and it was easy to pick out the instructors that were not native Oregonians.

You need to frame that picture and give it to him for Christmas.   A rifleman's patch, a cleared red coat and a new rifle.....life doesn't get much better than that.
