What an awesome event! 11 women of all ages came out to learn and hone their rife marksmanship skills. Saturday was cold, windy and plenty of rain, but everyone stuck it out. We pulled 2 AQTs on Saturday and Ohio gained a new Riflewoman and orange hat---Congratulations LadyShot (Ashley.) Sunday was sunny and a bit warmer with no wind and 11 returning shooters!

At the end of day Sunday, shooters stepped up to try their hand at the center fires to 100 yards....3 with the Garand rang steel and 4 shooting the XCR rang steel----Hey this Appleseed stuff really works  ;D ;) ;D

We had a trio of Dangerous Dames, Kelly, Shelly, and Beth all shooting in the high 180's-200's knocking on the RifleWoman door. Shelly cleaned the Redcoat on Sunday, too!

Four young ladies who made Sybil Ludington proud---Sami shot a personal high of 207, oh so close to the RifleWoman patch! Laura and Claire first time shooters watched their scores and effective range climb all weekend, showing amazing improvement. Finally, Hannah, BunnyHopper, who had way more energy than we could all keep up, showed fantastic improvement from her last Appleseed and shooting her personal best as well... GO HANNAH!!!

Our Dangerous Ole Mom's Becky, Ann, and Julie sure honored Hannah Davis et al this weekend! They each improved their rifle skills and were knocking on the door of a RifleWoman patch!!

A huge THANK YOU to each of you ladies for your persistence and perseverance through bad weather, equipment issues, and frustrations---you most definitely made our Founding Generation proud!!

THANK YOU to some of the best lady instructors in Appleseed---Dangerous D, Pink-E, and Brickhouse! It is always a pleasure to work with you guys!!

THANK YOU to our beloved 'manslave' KAH, who set to work first thing Saturday morning mounting scopes and getting rifles equipped for our shooters., plus all the other jobs you did through out the weekend!

Also, a big THANK YOU to Tusco Rifle Club for their continued support and partnership with Project Appleseed. Thank you Colt for keeping us well fed on Saturday---the sausage was wonderful!!!

It was a true honor and pleasure working with all of you this weekend! The best part of Appleseed are the people I meet on the trail--- America's finest!!!

All my pics are on the Ohio FB page, I cannot get them to load here  :(  I do not think KAH has had an opportunity to post as he has had a very busy work week. Hopefully things will slow for him and he will get them posted soon.
