We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

This Appleseed clinic was a whole lot cooler than the past months, but our attendance was lower than past months.  You never know how many folks will show up on Labor Day weekend.  But those that turned out definitely had purpose in their stride and took in all the instructors gave. O0

Almost as on cue our "pet" turkeys crossed onto the range as we were reviewing safe range practices.  A good practical lesson on the CEASE FIRE command.  The students benefitted from a good instructor to student ratio and began the task of building a good solid base and then implemented the 6 steps to firing the shoot.  We could tell that there were some that had practiced before coming out.

We love having families attend Appleseed clinics and we love when families put into practice the marksmanship lessons.  In fashion of the father & son teams that mustered on Lexington Green, both of our father & son teams proved themselves and earned their Rifleman patches.  We all know the price that some of the father & son pairs paid at Lexington and during the struggle for Independence gave us all a third choice.  I thank God for that gift.  Congats go to David Sr. & David Jr. and

One of our younger Riflemen who has been too young to be a Jr Instructor finally was able to retire (at 13) his Blue hat for an Orange one.  He completes another father & son Instructor team.  Congratulations Ben & Shawn!!! O0

We had several others that shot just under Rifleman score and we're sure that we'll see them soon called up to receive their patch.  Everyone went home with a new appreciation of what those fathers and sons did for us long, long ago.  I hope that this new knowledge and appreciation will endure and prosper in the lives of those who attend.

So, without any further adieu, on to the pictures!
