We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

Part 1:

A snap shot from the Sunday wrap-up and benediction:

Q1: Did we teach you some History and Heritage?

A1: Yes

Q2: Did we improve your marksmanship?

A2: Yes

Q3: Did you have a Good Time?

A3: Yes!

Q4: Will you 7th Step?

A4: Time will tell ........

It was almost a reunion, as we had 8 out of 12 shooters that had been to 2 or 3 Shoots at this venue! The "repeats" were very comfortable with the instructors as it has been the same team for the last 3 Shoots at this range.

Saturday was hot and humid but the folks persevered. A storm was predicted for the late afternoon so we planned a short lunch and decided to finish the 2nd half of the 1st Strike at the end of the day in case the storm arrived.

We lucked out as the Tornado warning expired at 12:45 and it only produced a few drops of rain. Late in afternoon we had a short rain shower but that passed quickly and the shooting mats were wet but not soaked.

2 of the shooters were repeat "seeds", but it was their first time at Guilford -  James & Lou: thanks for joining us!
We had another 2 shooters that were new to AS  - thanks to Amy and Bob for joining us!

Sunday started out cool with very little humidity.....

Part 2 will follow tomorrow...

Some photos to prove that it did happen O0.

If you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem.

Fred; Quoted (out of context) at an IBC on Battle Road 2011 "All it takes is a Red Hat and a Sharpie to run an Appleseed."
We ALL know this is not true and I would like to thank all the Hats, Admin and other volunteers that are involved in making an Appleseed Shoot happen.....

Great shoot, learned a lot from James, Todd, and Ti. Apologies to Todd for lead fouling his barrel. Fortunately it cleaned up.
