Shenandoah Appleseed August 18-19

A great APPLESEED !  The weather was fantastic (just as Vic hoped for), eight shooters on the line Saturday morning, 3 had been to a previous Appleseed and 5 new shooters to the program (but not to shooting).  The Instructor team consisted of  Vic (S/C) shootboss , Roger IIT II, Don IIT0, and Dan (new orange hat) who was very helpful, and last but certainly not the least was Karen the Blue Hat who kept things in order and recorded the event on digital media ( pictures for us rednecks).  A new Rifleman (congratulations Todd) on Sunday and several more knocking hard on that door!  Four youth participated on Saturday and three made it back for Sunday, they all did very well and are a bright spot for the future. The make up of our shooters were a young man and his fiancee, two father son(s) teams and a young man being mentored by Dan (7th stepping).  A great big thank you to everyone for making this (our eleventh) Appleseed so much fun and rewarding.
