We had a good shoot, although only 4 shooters showed up on Saturday.  It was hot - a real change from last year when it rained for a week and the wind blew hard enough to bend my tent poles.  Newman was ShootBoss and did his usual bangup job.  Wholigan was supposed to be there, but had not yet been released from hospital following an auto crash.
Three generations of one family on the line!  It was so hot that grandpa had to bow out before the morning was out, but Jason and his son Sam stuck it out and improved dramatically.  Mark, our other shooter, shot 189 and I was sure he would shoot 210, but the heat really sapped all of us.  They all gave it their best and all intend to persist and make Rifleman.
The Worland folks were most helpful and supportive.
