The Old Guide

This was a non-shoooting indoor event in Caribou, Maine. We were invited to make a presentation following our event for home schoolers at Bath. Maine last month. Home schoolers are a varied and interesting group who often provide their children with better educations in safer places. We had a table centrally located next to the National Guard table. We got leads on three potential ranges in Northern Maine and one in Western Maine. We had many handouts including tri-folds and we had fliers printed off by North Country Lady for all upcoming Maine Appleseeds.

We expected to be exhibitors. Then we found that they want us to be featured speakers. This was not a problem. We spoke about Project Appleseed and told the Three Strikes. NCL told about the Ladies of April 19, 1775. This group enjoyed it more than the usual attendees because home schoolers are a liberty minded group to start with.

This was an enjoyable event which could lead to continued growth of Appleseed in Maine. We'll be back next year.
Our history is not a list of dates and places. It is a dynamic adventure of freedom and individual courage.
