We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a

The first 2012 Amarillo Appleseed was, as always, blessed with excellent conditions.  This isn't Divine intervention, the first event is always held in the Indoor Range.  March Texas Panhandle weather ranges from blizzards to sirocco and it's hard to shoot consistently when the targets are being ripped off the frames.

This year six new Appleseeders and four returnees began or continued their Rifleman journey.  Many of the new Appleseeders are members of the local "Girl with a Gun" pistol league who made the choice to learn the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship.  Of course they also heard a lot about history and our debt to the Founding Fathers.  All made good progress.  New Appleseeder Christi, who came with her (returning Appleseeder) daughter Samantha, made excellent progress and scored 219 on a Sunday AQT for her "purple" Rifleman patch.  Congratulations Christi!
