We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

Another small but very productive Appleseed this weekend.  For the past several months Evansville has been soaked with rain which has made for quite muddy conditions at the local ranges.  This coupled with recent "freezing fog" had us fearing that no shooters would turn out.  Ah, but once again the youth of the area proved our fears were misplaced!

Four enthusiastic shooters, all youths, came out to learn marksmanship skills and R.W. history while having fun in the process! And these shooters knew what they were about.

On the first 'red coat' target of the day, we had two shooters score on the simulated 100 and one one on the simulated 200.  But by the end of the day we had two qualified expert rifleman and the other two making good progress as shown by the last 'red coat'.

So congratulations to Betsy and Heather our newest riflewomen!  And keep up the practice, Amber and Charlie!

I want to extend special thanks to IIT MtnHickoryNut for recruiting all four of our shooters and for doing such a fine job instructing.  Plus, he managed to snap a few pics, so stay tuned!
