The inaugural event at Queen City, Texas was a success with 50% of the shooters achieving a Rifleman score! On the down side, we only had two shooters. Both brought teachable attitudes, and a good time was had by all.

The range was a bit of a challenge due to deep mud at the target line, but with some hay we adapted and overcame. Special thanks to POP for getting us started on the right foot! Thanks to Wolf, Shot and Rebel13 for a great job of instructing!

Muddy setup.

Thomas goes over line commands.

Congratulations to Gary on his score of 210 to earn his Rifleman Patch (presented by his friend Shot). I think Gary needs to take an Orange Hat and start sharing his wealth of knowledge!

The mud just makes it more fun!! While it was a small turnout it was still a good one. Two more Americans who got off the couch and were hopefully energized to help save this country.

Gary was at the Panola County Gun Club NRA Midrange match on Sunday that Lauren was shooting at.  He spoke highly of Appleseed to a couple other shooters and did describe our AQT course of fire as "challenging".  We were able to 7th step another shooter, Russell who had heard of Appleseed and is interested in getting his daughter-in-law and her two young kids into shooting.  They may be attending an Appleseed at Quail Creek in the future!

Congrats on a successful shoot!
