We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a

Another fantastic weekend, sharing markmanship and history with some of the best people you could ever hope to meet.  I've been involved with the Appleseed project for a couple years now, but this event truly stands out.

Saturday,, we had 23 shooters take the line in typical southern Arizona blustery winter weather of 40 degrees and wind, but we made great progress and minted three new riflemen!

Jon stepped up to take an orange hat and hit the trail with us

But wait!....what the heck is that....

It's Arizona's newest Red hat instructor!

The new Saturday Riflemen

On Sunday, 18 stout hearts returned to brave even chillier temps and some scattered precipitation to hear futher tales of that great day, and to shoot AQT's.

Three more riflemen, and two new orange hats, including Arizona's youngest IIT!

Congrats Debbie!

And Pete, a young man who knows very well what he is about

and two more new orange hats

Several repeat 'seeders were with us, wich really allows the instructor corps to cover terrain quickly, because they bring friends and family members, and help with the teaching!

I'm excitinedly looking forward to our next scheduled event already!

Criticism is the only known antidote to error.  David Brin

What a nation has done, a nation can aspire to.
Dr. Jerry Pournelle

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as "bad luck."

Seven riflemen, what more can I say?
When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle.
