News:

We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

Spent the weekend criss-crossing NE Iowa putting up flyers and trifolds and talking to anyone that did not escape fast enough concerning the Inaugural AS event near Decorah at the end of this month.  Positive responses in Eitzen MN, Waukon IA, Monona IA and Decorah itself!  The manager of the gun department of the busiest sporting goods store in Decorah is a very enthusiastic Winona, MN Appleseed veteran that took all of my remaining flyers and trifolds and promised to fill the lines through his own personal contacts.  "Rusty" specifically asked if any of the "young instructors" from Winona would be coming down, and expressed great enthusiasm about meeting them again, achieving his Rifleman score and ABOUT BECOMING AN INSTRUCTOR HIMSELF ( he is an NRA instructor already).

Great venue, great hunting lodge to stay at and a potential major breakthrough for the growth of Project Appleseed in NE Iowa!

Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois and Wisconsin participants (shooters and instructors) are invited and highly encouraged!

As a bonus, hear the Second Strike from one of Acton's own Minutemen, and several other special presentations!

HUZZAH!
