The morning of the final Appleseed at the Timothy Murphy Memorial DAR gave evidence that summer is drawing to an end.  The temperature was significantly cooler than what we have been enjoying (?) in western PA for the past few weeks.  Eleven students were on the line Saturday morning, including five Young Patriots, two at their second Appleseed.

The course of instruction included Heritage by Cowdog.





Marksmanship by wvmmfalcon.





And the infamous "Ball and Dummy" drill.






By Sunday afternoon we had found two among us who "Know well what they are about".  Morgan






And her brother Andrew, both at their second Appleseed.





We will miss the Timothy Murphy Memorial DAR.  Best of luck, Cowdog, in all that you do.  And thanks for what you have done.
