Appleseed in Sept '10 American Rifleman (and Hunter)!

    Folks, we got in both magazines this Sept!

    Look on P. 20 in the American Rifleman, where you'll find some fine seventh-stepping by Spartan, a member here, who simply sent an email to the editor complementing him for the "excellent articles" in the prior issue - and making sure to mention not only Appleseed, but the website address!

     A double    !

     Then, about P. 8 of this month's American Hunter, I received the following:

Howdy Folks,
Jerry Hall here. I just received the American Hunter, Volume 38, Number 9, September 2010. On Page# 8 in the "Saysyou" section is a response on the article on rifle marksmanship ("How to Hit the Mark", July 2010) in which a "Rifleman", Ebben Raves from Germantown, Tenn, wrote " ...I was able to get some great instruction at an Appleseed Project weekend clinic (www.appleseedinfo.org).(AS info in red). I learned more in two days than the entire 10 years I was in the Army...".
I believe a great debt of gratitude goes out to Mr.Raves for hos excellent response and for placing a big bucket in our hands with which to bail. Now it's up to us to bail harder and faster!
Also a grateful Thanks to J. Scott Olmsted (Editor in Chief of American Rifleman) for including us in this reply.

I just got my issue today, and noticed the letter immediately when I saw the Applesed web address in RED in the middle of the page.  Good for Mr. Raves and his sons.
