Are you aware that Appleseed Instructors and IIT's shoot for free at the Camp Atterbury matches  April 10 and April 24? CIHPRS has named these matches the Appleseed Invitational Matches. 200, 300, and 500 yards.

Is there no interest in this?       www.cihprs.org

I attended last year, so my freebie is gone or I would certainly try for the 24th as I missed out on 300 and 500 due to rain. Several other instructors have expressed interest in going this year when it was posted over on the ingo forum.

Unfortunately, those weekends bracket Patriot's Day.

Absolutely interested, but this is the first I've heard of specific dates naming Appleseed.  Is this open to out of state instructors as well?

I posted on the INGO thread some time ago, and reposted with dates just this past week.  This is the first time I've seen this thread here!  If out of state instructors are interested, yes, you are welcome as well!  Same info-- name and address for the gate roster, and if you need any equipment I need to know in advance.

I knew about the offer from the older post on INGO.  I had asked about Amber coming with.  This is just the first I've seen dates.  I'm going to split this out to a separate thread here.

I intend to shoot the 80 shot match on April 10. This is a heckuva offer from the Central Indiana Highpower club. If anybody wants to shoot with me on the 10th, just let me know. Mog won't let me shoot for free, but that is alright with me.

For any out-of-state instructors, they won't be checking your ID's or anything. They will trust that you are telling the truth. The offer is for ANY Appleseed Instructor. Show up, shoot, and learn....

I will likely be in GA on this weekend.   :wb:

However, anyone who can do it, please go and do it!  Spread what we do, and learn every little bit from the hipower guys that you can.  They are as superb at what they do as we are at what we do.  Could not be a better match for fun and betterment.

Absolutely go if you can. I went last year at Sue's invite and had a great time. They are a very good bunch and answered all my questions, even the stupid ones ++).

I recommend it. I may go again and help Mog in the pits if we will have some instructors going to shoot. I bet she won't turn down the help...

You all seriously need to go to Atterbury.
You need to develop some seriously good working relationships there too.
Atterbury is a major predeployment training site for our troops.

I chose folks to do the WSMR shoot precisely to make the best of an opportunity like this.
Now who did we have from around that part of the country at WSMR?????

Make sure you get to Atterbury, and make positive contact with the people running that range about the benefits of having Appleseed there to teach the troops  ~~:)
