Appleseed: A Solution for the American Crisis

Common Sense

An Appleseed April 19th - the “Why”

Only one country is defined by an instant in time…

Only one country began with marksmanship…

Only one country seized freedom on a battlefield…

Yours…

And One Day measures the beginning of liberty:

April 19th, 1775

In a time of sorrow, with lamentations for the dead, the cries of the wounded, the smoke from burning houses - and wrecked lives…

In a time of fear, fear that a cruel enemy would return to wreck vengeance…

In a time of triumph, when a powerful army was defeated, and sent retreating to safety, by free men…

In a time of history, when a free people fought for their freedom, against impossible odds…

In a time of legacy, when people understood, it was about the future, about future generations, children and grandchildren, who were worth fighting for…

A great people was roused, and rose up, and ignored the odds, and cast the die, and made the first irreversible step toward securing their future, regardless of cost.

Across this great nation, for the second time in over two hundred years, Americans will remember and honor their history and heritage on April 18th and 19th at coast-to-coast Project April 19th, 1775 Appleseeds…

Appleseed - over 230 years in the making - now reuniting Americans with their history and heritage - and the traditional skills of the American Rifleman. On the weekend of Liberty’s birth, over 50 around the nation. A resurgence of spirit, of the ‘Spirit of ‘76’.

Volunteer Americans teaching other volunteer Americans… Come - be part of it.

You need - you want - to be part of this - to be part of history in the making…

Capt John Parker stood out on Lexington Green in the cold early dawn light on April 19th, 1775, at the head of a small band of 77 militia - farmers, shopkeepers, teachers, neighbors, friends.

He stood there, unmoved, unflinchingly watching hundreds of fast-moving Redcoats approaching.

He stood like a rock.

Will we ever see his like again?

Not a man in his company broke ranks.

Will we ever see their like again?

Answer: You see them at Appleseed. Every Appleseed you come to…

It’s the reason Appleseed is about Hope.

Yes, you can change the future.

No, you don’t have to fear what’s coming. You don’t have to hide. You don’t have to cower.

You can stand up and face it with your fellow Americans just like brave Americans did 200+ years ago.

And be a better person for it.

That’s Appleseed.

Hope.

And a better person.

You.

Over 300 Appleseeds, all across this nation, this year.

Make sure you get to one of them.

Make sure you bring a friend.

Or a relative.

Or a neighbor.

Or a co-worker.

Or one of each of them.
